SWI Group has joined NVIDIA’s Cloud Partner program as a Preferred Partner, adding accelerated computing capabilities to its growing digital infrastructure portfolio.
The partnership gives SWI access to NVIDIA reference architectures and validated configurations for deploying NVIDIA-powered infrastructure. The company will be able to support workloads spanning AI model training, fine-tuning, inference and agentic AI.
The development is part of SWI Group’s broader move into AI infrastructure. The company currently has 3.6 GW of power capacity across Europe and the US, giving it an existing infrastructure base on which to build its AI computing business.
SWI is also building its own AI infrastructure footprint through AiOnX, a 2.3 GW portfolio across Ireland, the UK, Spain, Denmark and Italy. In the US, its majority stake in SWI Digital provides access to a further 1.3 GW data-centre platform.
The NVIDIA relationship adds another layer to this infrastructure strategy. SWI says it intends to combine power, data-centre capacity, NVIDIA GPUs and enterprise AI software within a vertically integrated model.
For the wider AI infrastructure market, the move reflects a broader shift. Compute is increasingly being treated as strategic infrastructure, with access to power, data centres, networking and accelerated computing becoming critical to deploying AI at scale.
SWI’s strategy is therefore moving beyond owning infrastructure assets.
The company is positioning itself to operate the infrastructure on which AI workloads will run.
